About Our School
Maa Shri Vindhyavasini Inter College founded in 1996 as a grace of godess Vindhya vasini at Vijay Nagar, Nilmata, Lucknow . The school was established by Mr. Gyanchand Yadav, and from beginning it was raised to the level of high school. Now, it is raised to Intermediate College since 2001. Keeping in view the need of the generation we have held 3 main faculties of education- Science, Art and Commerce, which totally fulfill the demands of the students.

The school operates House System through House Captains, Vice-Captain and Prefects. Senior children are involved in running the school to the extent possible and thus they learn to shoulder responsibility , take initiative and decision and also how to execute them with the support and cooperation of other students and teachers. Authority is delegated to the senior student so that they become responsible and develop trust and get sense of fulfillment.

The school has a well equipped and extensively used library with a variety of encyclopedias, refence books, Historical and science fiction, travel, adventures, biographies, current events through magazines, news papers etc.

The school has many facilities for active participation in various sports. We provide both type of game outdoor-cricket, Football, Race, Tennis etc. as indoor games-Chess, Carom and Puzzle based games for primary kids.

Computer studies form an integral part of the school curriculum from classes lst to Xth. Our school provide computer literacy with 10 computers in
Science Laboratory
The school provides two main stream of Science – P.C.M, and P.C.B. to fulfill their requirements we have a grand and Well Equipped science lab. With the help of equipments every child related these faculties learns practically and presents the same through study projects, model, charts and science and craft exhibition.

Cultural and Creative activities
During academic activities many inter house competitions take place like Hindi / English debates, essay competitions, creative writing, quiz on science and current affairs, sports and game. The school also provide a huge plat form for dance and singing skills and search for great dramatic talents.
